Abstract : The application of pearlescent ink in wrapping paper printing was discussed from the perspective of the composition, blending and application of pearlescent ink, and the precautions for the use of pearlescent ink were described. 1 The composition of pearlescent ink

The binder is the key to the adhesion of the pearlescent pigment on the substrate. Its choice has a great influence on the rheology, viscosity, dryness and adaptability of the ink.

Natural resins and synthetic resins such as acrylates, polyamides, vinyls, nail shell extracts, nuclear bomb powder derivatives, and styrene-acrylic emulsions, silicones, and epoxy resins can be used as the binder. An emulsifying diluting agent containing a large amount of moisture.

Material used to reduce ink viscosity or consistency.

1.3.4 Detackifier
