A new high-speed cast polypropylene film production line was recently developed by Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co.KG in Germany and put on the market. The production line consists of 7 dies (3 calibers are 150, 90, and 80mm, respectively, each of which has a diameter of 60mm), a seven-layer filling empty, and a self-developed flat die with a hot plug. The production line can produce high-quality transparent cast PP film with a seven-layer structure with a width of 2000 mm, a thickness of 0.012 to 0.250 mm, a production speed of 300 m/s and a productivity of 1000 kg/h. There are sealing devices on both sides of the production line, which can reduce the generation of debris, improve edge trim recovery, optimize the production process, and reduce costs. The current market is mainly barrier packaging, metallized polypropylene film, laminated polypropylene or polyethylene film and stretched film. (Song Yuchun)
