3 Bead mill application in ink manufacturing process

In the new ink production process, the main grinding and dispersing device is a bead mill. Bead mills are fully enclosed grinding equipment. It has automatic feeding, automatic control of temperature and pressure devices, and continuous production methods, and has received good results. We know that inks are made up of pigments, binders, fillers, additives, etc. The process of ink production is to process these raw materials into a production process that meets the specifications. FIG. 2 is a grinding chamber structure diagram of a bead mill. During operation, the rotor agitates the medium (beads) at a high speed, and the high-speed running medium and the grinding chamber function to disperse through impact, friction, and shear forces. The vertical bead mill is fully enclosed and can continuously grind and disperse granular and non-granular solid materials in liquids.

In Fig. 2, the double jacket is used for heating and cooling. The cylindrical rotor is equipped with eight rows (six distribution bolts per row) of dispersing bolts. The dispersing bolts are made of tungsten carbide material and can be easily replaced. The stator is equipped with nine rows of six grinding pins on a fixed inner cylinder surface. The grinding pin of the stator and the grinding bolt of the rotor are staggered to meet the grinding dispersion effect. Inside and outside grinding surfaces are made of corrosion-resistant, high-quality stainless steel. The direction of the cooling or heating system is the opposite of the flow of the material. It is from top to bottom. During grinding, the high-speed dispersive bolts move the beads together with the material to make irregular movements. A certain number and size of beads rotate not only around their axis at high speed, but also at a high speed around the disperse disc shaft. The milled material pump is used. From the bottom to the top of the cylinder, the upper part of the cylinder is conveyed through the screen. The fineness of the product can be mediated by regulating the flow of the feed pump. The structure and characteristics of the equipment are: 1 grinding different types of products, the computer can input technical data such as pump flow rate, heating time, grinding chamber pressure, material temperature, etc. in advance according to the characteristics of the product, and then the computer automatically controls according to the input program. 2 The annular groove on the stator can meet the different requirements of the product, and high-precision special isolation grooves can be used for special adhesion. 3 Rotor and stator temperature, pressure, feed pump flow and other automatic display, and temperature and pressure protection devices, 4 grinding efficiency and dispersion can be adjusted by adjusting the feed pump flow and the amount of beads to obtain. 5 Due to the use of special and up-to-date technological materials, the grinding zone and the isolation zone are particularly resistant to friction, which does not affect the color of the material. 6 The device is safe self-locking and alarm device, some of the faults can be automatically excluded.
